The Aura Green Line Hybrid lacks in performance compared to most other hybrid sedans, but is the most inexpensive of its kind. More tasteful and confident looking than any other car that Saturn has produced; the Saturn Aura is spacious and will please most buyers.

Available in only one trim level, equipment included is as follows: 16-inch wheels, full power accessories, a trip computer, automatic climate control, cloth upholstery and a CD stereo with satellite radio. The Preferred Packaged includes more features.

Under the hood, the Aura Hybrid is equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and electric motor/generator. This produces a collective 164-horsepower at 6,400 rpm. It also includes a four-speed automatic transmission.

Significantly larger headlights embrace the sleek profile of the Green Line’s exterior. Looking primarily like conventional Aura’s, the Hybrid is differentiated via the front doors and trunklid.

The Aura Green Line is standard with antilock disc brakes, traction control, stability control and the OnStar emergency communications system. In frontal- and side-impact crash tests, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration awarded five stars for the Aura.

Smaller tires than the regular Aura, the Aura Green Line gives a more comfortable ride. Although, it’s can’t hit zero to sixty as quickly as the Camry Hybrid or Prius, the overall driving experience lives up to the familiarity of Saturn’s Auras.
